Funnel-shaped flowers with six petals can be crocus-shaped or open flat. The flowers typically last only for a day or two; but new flowers may appear in a succession of blooms, especially flourishing after watered or after it rains. They have grass-like foliage and bloom from spring to fall. Perform well in pots where they are not hardy. Dig and store for winter in zones 3-8. |
